| ABOR'S
ESTABLISHMENT
On January 25th 1994, at the "Sociedade Paulista de
Ortodontia", at 243 Livramento St, in São Paulo
city, the "Colégio Brasileiro de Ortodontia"
was established, which, later, changed its denomination
for "Brazilian Association of Orthodontics".
The idea of creating this association was set before
that date. In 1977, Mr. Eros Petrelli published, as
an editorial on the "Paranaense Ortodontia" Magazine
with the denomination of "Asssociação
Brasileira de Ortodontia", the constitution of that
institution.
After seventeen years, the seed germinated and the
mater Brazilian Orthodontics Organization was born.
The Gaúcha, Goiana, Mineira, Paranaense, Paulista
and Pernanbucana Orthodontics societies were present
on its establishment.
